Terms of service

1. Agreement

By browsing this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. They form a contract between you and LATTIQ Studio Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example if a design is unavailable, the address cannot be served, or we suspect fraud — and will refund any payment in full.

Because every piece is made to order, we cannot change or cancel an order once production has begun, which is normally within 12 hours of ordering.

3. Pricing and currency

Prices are shown in your selected currency and converted from our USD base price at the rates published on this site. The amount displayed at the moment you confirm payment is the amount charged, in that currency. Currency conversion rates are updated periodically and may differ slightly from your bank's rate.

Obvious pricing errors (for example a $580 piece listed at $58) do not bind us. If a pricing error affects your order we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of ordering, before production begins, through Stripe or PayPal. We never receive or store your payment card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you select.

5. Delivery and risk

Delivery estimates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. If a parcel is lost in transit we will investigate and, if the carrier confirms loss, repair, reship or refund at our discretion.

If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because of an address error or a refusal to pay import charges, we will refund the order value less the outbound and return shipping costs.

6. Duties and taxes

Orders are shipped from China. Import duties, VAT, GST and any customs clearance fees levied by the destination country are the recipient's responsibility unless we state otherwise at checkout. We declare accurate values on all customs documentation and will not under-declare or mark orders as gifts.

7. Returns, cancellation and refunds

You may return unworn items within 30 days of delivery. See the shipping & returns page for the full procedure. Earrings are returnable only with unbroken hygiene seals; personalised and engraved items are not returnable unless faulty.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the returned goods. Original shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns.

8. Warranty

We warrant our products against manufacturing defects for two years from delivery. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights. Excluded: accidental damage, normal wear including surface burnishing, and damage from perfume, chlorine, solvents or misuse.

9. Intellectual property

All designs, product photography, text, generative geometry and the LATTIQ name are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, resell or represent our designs as your own. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to do so.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Shenzhen, China, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it.
